Recycling Energy from Roads
An Israeli company using technology developed at the Technion has created an exciting alternative energy solution that harnesses waste energy from roads, railways and airport runways thanks to generators embedded in these transportation surfaces. This technology takes up little space, requires no maintenance, and recycles energy from things we do every day: drive, ride, and fly. A presentation at the Technion campus in January will showcase this innovation.  |
