A Message from Rod Feldman

What an exciting time to get involved with the ATS as we celebrate the 2011 Nobel Prize in Chemistry for Technion Professor Dan Shechtman, and the Technion-Cornell tech campus in New York City.

The ATS has been supporting Israel's best and brightest since 1940 – providing student scholarships and fellowships, underwriting state-of-the art buildings and laboratories, and funding innovative research initiatives. Our New York Metropolitan Region has made a huge difference in the growth of the Technion over the years.

We hope you will join our vibrant community of business and philanthropic leaders representing all aspects of New York industry. Find out how you can get involved with the Technion, the leading university that is driving Israel's economic development. Contact the New York Metropolitan Region today for more information.

Support our Chapter project

graduate village 1.JPG

The Technion faces fierce competition in recruiting top graduate students, plus a shortage of family-friendly living accommodations. We support the Morton and Beverley Rechler Family Foundation Dormitory, which helps meet the housing shortage with affordable, large two-bedroom apartments, conveniently located on campus. Other ways to get involved

  • Establish undergraduate scholarships and/or graduate fellowships
  • Support the recruitment of top-notch faculty
  • Fund capital projects
  • Underwrite research initiatives

The Technion in NYC

Apple

In December 2011, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg selected the Technion and Cornell University to build an applied science and technology campus in New York City. With The Technion-Cornell Innovation Institute (TCII) at its core, the campus is poised to remake the Big Apple into a hub of innovation and technology, much like the Technion has done in Israel.
