Message from the President

When the Technion was founded, early supporters such as Albert Einstein had the vision that Israel’s viability would depend on technology. But, even they would have been astonished by Technion’s major scientific contributions and its promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship. The Technion’s contribution spans the fields of information technology, security, medicine, agriculture, the environment and more. It has been critical to the security and growth of Israel. This could not have been possible without generous support from the American Technion Society.

ATS Houston has been blessed with exemplary leaders who have been committed to education and the advancement of science and engineering in Israel. I am honored and humbled to be part of that tradition and will endeavor to grow the organization.

Support our Chapter project

The Technion faces fierce international competition for graduate students, plus a housing shortage. Our support of the Graduate Student Village has helped provide family-friendly living space and recruit top-tier graduate students. We are completing this project and about to undertake a new one. Stay tuned for the details.
