New York Metropolitan Region Alumni Group
Description:
The New York Metropolitan Region Technion Alumni Group welcomes all graduates and former Technion students living in the greater New York Metropolitan area. The group sponsors networking and educational events
for its members.
The alumni group meets 3-4 times a year, at different venues. Most meetings include a guest lecture by a visiting Technion professor or faculty member, as well as time for socializing and networking.
The group is also an integral and active part of the American Technion Society New York Metropolitan Region. Alumni participate in the region's programs and events and actively support the Technion through the
American Technion Society. In fact, Technion alumnus Jonathan Sohnis serves as the region's overall chair, directing the region's activities and fund-raising efforts.
The alumni group's membership stands at nearly 300, but we have lots of room to grow. We would like to be able to include all area alumni in our activities. If you are not yet part of our group, please
register in our alumni directory and you will be added to our mailing list. Please also feel free to tell other alumni about us.
